Knight Transportation has appointed Joe Vitiritto as its new president, effective today.
Vitiritto rejoined Knight in November 2025 and most recently served as executive vice president of operations support. He previously held multiple leadership roles at Knight and Swift Transportation between 2003 and 2020, gaining broad operational and organizational experience across the enterprise.
Before returning to Knight, Vitiritto served as president and CEO of PAM Transport, where he led a series of significant operational and organizational initiatives, according to the company.
In his new role, Vitiritto will focus on driving profitable growth, ensuring alignment across terminals and departments to better serve customers and drivers, and maintaining strict cost discipline while operating safely and efficiently.
